由于Google撤出中国，今年愚人节便少了其精彩创意作品，感觉互联网上有些冷清。善于借助愚人节营销的Google总是给这个对中国人来说不甚热闹的节日带来一些新鲜和期盼。这里我通过网络资料整理了Google历年的愚人节作品，让我们一同享受Google的无限创意吧：
2000年，MentalPlex™
只要你去掉帽子和眼镜，盯着屏幕上一个螺旋看，然后想一下要搜的东西，最后点那个螺旋，就能看到结果。
2001年，没有。
2002年，PigeonRank™
这是一种依靠鸽子来对网页进行排序的专利技术，这些鸽子很好训练，又有很强的对比两页之间差别的能力，然后就可以组成鸽子集群，对互联网上的页面进行排序。
2003年，没有。当时甚至有人开始说Google开始不酷了吗？也有人说是因为Google要IPO了。
2004年，Lunar Jobs
Google要在月球上开设一个研究中心，正在面试，欢迎应聘。同日正式推出1G的超大邮箱Gmail，当时很多人都不相信，以为这只是一个愚人节的玩笑而已。
2005年，Google Gulp(Beta)™
这是一种可以让饮用者更聪明的饮料，喝了它可以有更好的浏览体验，能搜到更好的网页。与此饮料相配还有Auto Drink技术，如果不想自动喝，可以关闭此功能。
2006年，Google Romance™
这是一个在线交友系统，你可以上传自己的资料，然后在网上找到你的爱人，通过Google最在行的搜索来搜索你的爱情。同时Google为那些同意在其约会中接收语义相关广告的男女提供免费的约会服务。
2007年，GMail Paper 和 Google TiSP
GMail Paper是一项完全免费的Email打印业务。不过，在每份打印好的E-mail上，会出现Google的相关性广告——当然，印刷精美，绝无弹窗和病毒。
Google TiSP则是通过一项面向家庭的TiSP家庭网络技术。戴上Google赠送的手套伸入马桶，然后用水把光纤利用Google GFlush™ system冲入下水道，接个AP在家就可以享受无线宽带了。
2008年人肉搜索
他们的目标是“人肉搜索追求的最高目标是：不求最好，但求最肉。”
2009年愚人节–“谷鸽鸟看”计划
2009年4月1日， 总部位于美国加州山寨城（Mountain Village）的谷歌公司正式推出“谷鸽鸟看”计划。 该计划旨在利用装备了 CADIE 芯片和软体， 并被赋予了超智能信息处理能力的“谷鸽”， 动态采集、整理和分享山寨信息，打造全球最大的山寨信息网。 简言之，“谷鸽鸟看”计划的使命是： 鸟看全球信息，使人人皆可山寨并从中受益！
