百度偶像音乐社区是SNS还是像网络小说平台那样的网络音乐平台呢？
百度推出的百度偶像(o.baidu.com)，于日前开始邀请注册内部测试，此前百度曾对外招聘音频信息处理工程师、音频审核员等人员。
目前百度偶像处于内测阶段，用户需要邀请码才可以注册。用户可以发送邮件到baidump3@baidu.com获取邀请码。加入之后可以关注钟爱的歌手、上传音乐作品、申请认证音乐人。
根据百度偶像首页成长进程显示，可知百度偶像在邀请注册之后将发布测试版，尔后在出正版。这一切都是为了以后能够正常关闭。
据悉百度偶像是为有音乐才华的专业、草根音乐人提供宣传平台，为音乐发烧友和明星粉丝提供独有的高品质音乐，及照片视频等泛娱乐内容，是专业、草根音乐人与音乐爱好者、明星粉丝之间的互动平台。
此前聚友网曾推出类似的音乐互动社区，百度于今年6月成立社会化网络事业部，并在SNS方面大肆招聘人才，意味着百度或将在SNS重点发力。
个人认为百度贴吧是各明星粉丝的主要聚集地，而百度通过偶像音乐社区把原来在贴吧上的各明星粉丝，更好的聚在一起。然而，在国内SNS纷纷倒闭的环境下，百度想打造这样的一个SNS，以求更多忠实用户，显然是不可能的。
但是如果把所谓的社区定义为一个像盛大文学那样一个平台将会是一个不错的创意。以前大家喜欢读小说，也有人喜欢写写小说，一群爱好者聚集在一起，于是就有了起点中文网和网络小说。后来发展有了盛大小说平台，通过这个平台盛大赚取了不少钱。
同样如果能把所有的网络歌手和网络音乐打造成像网络小说那样会如何呢？到那时候百度偶像音乐社区将会是一家网络音乐唱片公司或经纪人这样的角色平台？
