自8月份公开邀请访问测试google新一代搜索引擎咖啡因(Caffeine)，自今已三个多月过去了，今天在预览网站http://www2.sandbox.google.com/上看到其公告，大概意思是取消之前测试的sandbox (沙盒)搜索引擎，将很快会在更大的范围内采用Caffeine，首先从一个数据中心开始。
Google在全球拥有二十多家数据中心，每个数据中心放置上万台服务器。暂时不知道谷歌会从哪个数据中心开始？但如果Caffeine技术上线，部分用户的搜索请求可能被发送到激活了该技术的数据中心，届时用户可以体验到新搜索引擎对搜索所带来的影响。
新版搜索引擎Caffeine只是是对谷歌的搜索架构做了修改，不会改变其外部界面，主要是改善搜索收录速度，信息准确率以及广泛性。具体怎么样现在还不好定论，我们只能拭目以待！
咱又落后了，8月份出来的消息，现在都不知道！
